Here we are in March. Saint Patrick’s Day and the Ides have come and gone. I’ve found my next camp site on The Hero’s Highway.

1.  The Extra Kick on April Fool’s Day

My sense of humor gets an extra boost this year. The celebration of the resurrection of Christ and April 1st are the same day this year. I foresee some twisted and sacrilegious humor in my future. Bad Nomad. Bad! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2.  Life

As usual life itself amuses me no end. Sometimes I find myself laughing for no apparent reason. For instance, much as I wish I had friends to visit in Kingston, Surrey County, Jamaica, I don’t. They keep calling though. hahahaha

3. Time at The Hill House

I stayed with my most excellent friends for a week. It is a sad and happy time. For me the Happy out weights the sad. Much love is shared. Much fun is had. Adventure abounds.

I am grateful for my rolling home. I am grateful for my nomadic lifestyle.

Much love to you.

1.  Heat

Being warm makes me happy. Thankfully spring is springing in the south. 😃

2.  Snow

In January I enjoyed a very brief bit of snow in New Orleans. I’m not a fan but this was ok.

3.Mardi Gras

I stayed to watch the parades and then got an opportunity to participate in one. I also worked on a float.

Rock on

A Happier Camper

While I’ve been in New Orleans I arranged for Happy Campers to create some new seat covers. The old ones were original with the RV, 1999. You can imagine. Well, it’s better not to imagine how bad they were.

These new ones are awesome. She even got the stripes lined up. I highly recommend this business. I am happier camper now.

A Good Day On Earth

Wednesday as I sauntered through the French Quarter, the Universe manifested a fellow traveler. She was raising money to purchase a rocket ship. 🚀

Such noble endeavor.

We spoke of many things and lastly about my space and time machine and my travels through the universe.

I took her picture, contributed to the cause, and sauntered on.

It is a good day on planet earth.

Let the Good Times Roll

This trip I’ve stayed for three months in New Orleans. I’ve had some great times. I usually do. I’ve discovered places I hadn’t seen before, ate food I haven’t eaten before, visited with long time friends, made new friends and visited some of my favorite places. I saw the Christmas lights in City Park, participated in a carnival parade, went to several parades, worked on a float, danced in a second line behind the Treme Brass Band, saw gators, and the largest cottonmouth snake I’ve ever seen.

Let the good times roll. And roll they will, on to Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve.

Future Past

From back in the last year’s February photo a day challenge: 2.8.17

Faceless Portrait

My great uncle Claudius from the 22nd Century. He is an early leader of the migration movement. As eyes and hearts opened, the portals between the verses started opening too. The Powerful Cheeto regime, which has been in power since the early 21st Century, disdains the freedom seekers and desires to end their escape into kinder gentler versions of reality. Uncle Claudius must remain anonymous to continue to #resist.

Starting a new year out right.

1.  NOLA-My Spirit City

My sweet friend Tina recently noticed I was starting the new year in my Spirit City. She said that was good for me. She is so right. I am elated to be beginning this magical, earth grounding, transformative year in New Orleans LA. My spirits soars.

2.  A Sunny Day

As I type this I’m sitting in the gazebo at Jude Travel Park soaking the rays from the first sunny day in a week. It’s not really warm in the wind, but here in the sun it’s great with coffee.

3.  Making silly videos

I have so fallen behind on silly videos. I’m excited and happy by the possibility of getting back to making that content. I have so much foolishness to share. lol

The 2018 Mashup

2018 Things

Keep calm.

I’m not a resolution maker. I’m not a resolution keeper. I pick themes or words or intentions (Stayed tunes. Soon a 2018 intentions blog is coming to a screen near you.) or a mixture. This year is a mashup, a fusion of ideas.

Stay crazy.

My 2018 mantra: “Lord Jesus have mercy on me.” It’s my mala (spiritual fidget spinner) version of the Jesus Prayer.

My always motto: “Be here now”.

My anthem for 2018 is the album “ Apostrophe”. You have hear it to appreciate it.

My theme: Transformation
This is a year of change (as all years are). It’s a year for renewal and new adventures. It’s time to work on myself. A time to check what is truly valuable in my life. I live a nomadic lifestyle and that has changed me. I think it’s time to jump into that process and be more active in the transformation. Or not. 😎 Westward?

Laugh! Live! Love!

And let us not forget the big eyed aliens from Uranus.

Or is that Big Eyed Aliens from Venus Beans! It is beans.
