Everyday Magic

I follow the Magic in the Everyday blog. It is cool. You might like it too. It’s upbeat and fun.

Recently the author posted a list of things that made her feel lucky and she challenged her readers to give it a try.

Here is my list of things that make me feel lucky.

1. I am still alive. My pacemaker keeps the ticker ticking.
2. I live in my rolling home and go where I please.
3. I am active and in pretty good physical shape.
4. I feel free.
5. I don’t need permission.
6. I have sufficient income.
7. My time is my own.
8. I drive a wonderful Jeep Wrangler.
9. I love and I am loved.
10. I love my lifestyle.

These also things that make me happy and things for which I am grateful.

What makes you feel lucky?

Peace and love and luck!

Lost in Paradise Con’t

Being Lost in Paradise requires appropriate music.

I think Jimmy Buffett’s Cheeseburger in Paradise is perfect for this occasion. Maybe I’ll even have a cheeseburger in paradise before I go.

Much love to you.

1.  Safe Water

Knowing the water is tested and safe is great. Definitely a happy thing.

2.  Quote of the day

Talking about himself, the child said, “My life is awesome!” That will put a smile on my face.

3. Turkey

I like turkey. I look forward to it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Today I cooked some. Yep, it’s not Thanksgiving or Christmas. I rubbed the 3 pound turkey (beast)* breast with Cajun seasoning and popped it in the slow cooker. Five hours later it was moist, tender, and delicious.

Gratitude Helps and Heals

I am grateful for the opportunities I have to travel and for the random turkey moments.

Peace and love

1.  Yellow Hammer RV

Life on the road entails finding places to land for varying periods of time. I managed a spot here for a week or so while I visit my cardiologist. I’m not sure where is next. That’s ok.

2.  Vero

I’m enjoying this new social media outlet.

3. My Mentor

My mentor has come to play for a few days. It’s always good when he visits.

Gratitude Helps and Heals

I am grateful for safe travels. I’ve driven a lot more than usual in the last couple of weeks.

Much love to you.

Here we are in March. Saint Patrick’s Day and the Ides have come and gone. I’ve found my next camp site on The Hero’s Highway.

1.  The Extra Kick on April Fool’s Day

My sense of humor gets an extra boost this year. The celebration of the resurrection of Christ and April 1st are the same day this year. I foresee some twisted and sacrilegious humor in my future. Bad Nomad. Bad! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2.  Life

As usual life itself amuses me no end. Sometimes I find myself laughing for no apparent reason. For instance, much as I wish I had friends to visit in Kingston, Surrey County, Jamaica, I don’t. They keep calling though. hahahaha

3. Time at The Hill House

I stayed with my most excellent friends for a week. It is a sad and happy time. For me the Happy out weights the sad. Much love is shared. Much fun is had. Adventure abounds.

I am grateful for my rolling home. I am grateful for my nomadic lifestyle.

Much love to you.

A Happier Camper

While I’ve been in New Orleans I arranged for Happy Campers to create some new seat covers. The old ones were original with the RV, 1999. You can imagine. Well, it’s better not to imagine how bad they were.

These new ones are awesome. She even got the stripes lined up. I highly recommend this business. I am happier camper now.

Full moon in Virgo part 1

3.2.18

I’m camping at Magnolia Branch Wildlife Preserve with Belle and Elliot.

Today’s adventures:

We went to the Wind Creek Casino Grill for breakfast. I had a cheese, spinach, and bacon omelette, a biscuit, strawberry jam, unsweetened tea, and hash browns. It was tasty.

Afterwards we toured the impressive casino facilities: two gift shop, huge pool, gambling floors, hotel, buffet, spa, a couple of bars, game room, cooking classes, bowling alley, movie theaters, coffee shop, liquor store, amphitheater, and the Grill. We boogied to the music 🎶 from the rocking rock.

Back at World HQ we hiked to the creek and went wading. We hiked to the burn pile and picked up giant pine cones. Later we hiked down the road, saw some geese, and played kick the pine cone.

We hiked a couple of miles total. Pretty good considering one of us was only one year old.

We trekked to David’s Catfish House for supper. I had two catfish filets, coleslaw, hush puppies, and turnip greens. I liked it all but the greens. The prices were reasonable and they had an intriguing decor that included a phone booth in case one needed to transform into a super hero.

On the way back to World HQ we made a short trip to Florida.

I’m looking forward to what tomorrow brings.

A Good Day On Earth

Wednesday as I sauntered through the French Quarter, the Universe manifested a fellow traveler. She was raising money to purchase a rocket ship. 🚀

Such noble endeavor.

We spoke of many things and lastly about my space and time machine and my travels through the universe.

I took her picture, contributed to the cause, and sauntered on.

It is a good day on planet earth.

2018 – Intentions

Jennifer McClusky shared a format for 2018 intentions. At first I tried to play (be ruled)* by the rules. 😉 Most of that fell by the wayside as the process took its own paths. Here are the intentions that came to me.

The Big Picture

This is a year of transformation, experiencing, and grounding. A time has come for greater productivity, creativity, abundance and consciousness in my life. I have spent many cycles at this frequency. It is time to let go at this level and begin to vibrate at a higher frequency.

Intention #1: I’m going to take the pause, the moment: to breathe, to regroup, to think. Most importantly I will take the pause to step outside the mind, the game, the illusion.

Intention #2: Experience the wonder of it all. Life is amazing. Everything. Rather than think about it using words I want the direct experience.

Intention #3: Continue my daily practice of being mindfully grounded. On the coldest day of the year so far, my bare feet stood on Earth as she spun and speed through space .

Intention #4: Renewal and growth. I want to change my habits. I want them to heal me physically, mentally, and spiritually. That is the starting point for growth. I’m not sure what all this means but it’s a place to begin.

Intention #5: Continue converting my rolling home into a nest that suits me. This is my World HQ. It is my base of operations. It is a safe place and place of inspiration. It continues to evolve.

Intention #6: Practice abundance in all areas of my life.

Intention #7: Practice remembering the conscious mind is just another organ. It’s not the witness.

Intention #8: Listen and be receptive to my inner voice. Be still and know.

Intention #9: Practice balanced spontaneity.

Intention #10: A black and white photo project featuring decay. This a symbolic project. As I toss out that which adversely effects my vibration or cast a dark light in my direction I will make room for nourishing, growth oriented experiences.

Intention #11: Do not fear change. Do not resist change. Embrace change. Keep the good let what does not empower me flow past. If I cling to what I know because it’s comfortable I hinder my own progress. Attachment is a trap. Clinging is a trap.

Intention #12: Flow in the magic of the wild cycles of life. In so doing I’ll get where I’m supposed to be.

Don’t forget #maya and big eyed aliens 👽 from Uranus.

Starting a new year out right.

1.  NOLA-My Spirit City

My sweet friend Tina recently noticed I was starting the new year in my Spirit City. She said that was good for me. She is so right. I am elated to be beginning this magical, earth grounding, transformative year in New Orleans LA. My spirits soars.

2.  A Sunny Day

As I type this I’m sitting in the gazebo at Jude Travel Park soaking the rays from the first sunny day in a week. It’s not really warm in the wind, but here in the sun it’s great with coffee.

3.  Making silly videos

I have so fallen behind on silly videos. I’m excited and happy by the possibility of getting back to making that content. I have so much foolishness to share. lol
